Take two readings from the outside, middle, and inside of each tire and write down the average
for each.=   Note the tire pressure cold before the test and the tire pressure = hot after the test.
The goal is to have the hot tire temperatu= re readings within 5 degrees of each other throughout the
width of the tire.  Using a pyrometer probe will giv= e you the best results, but I have a used a
laser pyrometer with good results.  You will see a difference with as little as a 1psi change.
