Transmission Gear Ratios
If your planning on swapping in a different transmission or just curious on your gear ratios, the following
charts will be helpful. The ratios will also help you determine MPH and RPM in specific gears for racers
interested in how much it will effect their performance. Those with a 5th gear near .63 to .68 are good for
highway driving. A .8 5th gear is more of a 5th pulling gear versus an overdrive gear and used more in
road racing.
Stock T-5 (World Class) Transmission
F0ZR (1990), and FZZR (1991-1993). The Mustang T-5's have the number "13-52-065" cast near the F0ZR
(1990), and FZZR (1991-1993). The Mustang T-5's have the number "13-52-065" cast near the shifter
tower. The T-5 Z was a rolling upgrade in 1993 and continued through 1995.shifter tower. The T-5 Z was
